You cannot fix a bearing by "bending it back". With the platter wobble that you commented on, you have play in your bearing and I really hope you didn't put WD40 on it.

Vinyl forces you to either listen to the songs in the order they are on the record, or get up and change tracks. Remote vinyl? No such thing.
