  1. A weird one from Blondie – and with lot more going for it than the reception at the time would suggest! Following up the diverse pop leanings of Autoamerican, in some ways this is the logical next step from there – Debra's voice way out front in the mix, layers of additional preclusion, horns, global pop accents (post "The Tide Is High", that's a given), oddball covers.

  3. The Hunter [VINYL] LP, Import Blondie Format: Vinyl. out of 5 stars 55 ratings. hard to put a finger on. I thought opening the album with "Orchid Club" was a coup - who can forget that long-held note, even longer than the long note in "Dreaming" - but I don't think there was much tribal music on the scene back in the day, so I can see /5(55).

  5. Mar 17,  · Eat to the Beat seems to be their most consistent album, and is my favorite. I love the insanity of 'Victor'. I think The Hunter is vastly underrated. 'Orchid Club' is one of their best and 'Danceway' should have been a single. Parallel Lines has always been overrated in my book. I like a lot on it but I think the albums I mentioned held up better.
